The 2011 Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4, the world’s first Diesel Hybrid:in Geneva, as a limited editionWith its launch of the world’s first diesel hybridvehicle, from mid-2011, Peugeot presents a new andoriginal offer in terms of environmental efficiencyand driving sensations.On the 3008 Crossover, the hybridisation of a dieselengine (2.0 HDi FAP 120 kW/163 bhp) driving thefront wheels and an electric motor with a capacity of 27 kW (37 bhp) at the rear sets the scene for 4-wheel drive, a maximum power of 200 bhp, a “zero emission” mode and standardised average fuel consumption starting from 3.8 litres/100 km (74.3 MPG).

The 2011 Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 will be produced in France (in Sochaux and Mulhouse) and marketed in the spring of 2011 in Europe. Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 benefits from the combined power of the HDi diesel engine and electric motor during acceleration and when an immediate surge of power is required (the “boost” function). The maximum combined power output is 200 bhp, 163 bhp from the 2.0 litre HDi FAP diesel engine and 37 bhp from the electric motor. A maximum torque of 500 Nm is available, split with 300Nm at the front from the HDi diesel engine and 200 Nm at the rear generated by the electric motor. Coupled with new driving enjoyment is a breakthrough in terms of CO2 emissions at just 99 g/km, a 35% reduction compared to a combustion engine of comparable power. At Geneva, Peugeot presents a Limited Edition 3008 HYbrid4: the 300 numbered cars, in Pearlescent White with two-tone full leather trim, can be reserved online as soon as the Motor Show opens. In 2012, the 508 will be the second Peugeot model to benefit from the HYbrid4 power train.
